Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the TaskDost mobile application or website (taskdost.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1 Company Information
TaskDost is a hyperlocal task marketplace platform operated by RapidTech Solutions (hereinafter referred to as "TaskDost", "we", "our", or "us"), registered in India.
2 Definitions
- "Platform" means the TaskDost mobile application (Android) and website taskdost.com.
- "User" / "Task Poster" means any person who posts a task and seeks assistance through the Platform.
- "Helper" / "Task Doer" means any person who accepts and performs tasks for compensation through the Platform.
- "Task" means any service or job posted by a User on the Platform.
- "Transaction" means any payment made between Users and Helpers via the Platform.
- "Escrow" means funds held by TaskDost or its payment partner until task completion.
3 Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform.
- You must be a resident of India and possess a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current registration information including your name, phone number, address, and government-issued ID (for identity verification).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- TaskDost reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
- Each individual may maintain only one (1) account. Multiple accounts are strictly prohibited.
4 Nature of Services
TaskDost is a technology marketplace platform that connects individuals who need assistance with everyday tasks ("Users") to individuals willing to perform those tasks for compensation ("Helpers").
⚠️ Important: TaskDost is NOT an employer of Helpers. Helpers are independent service providers. TaskDost does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of tasks or services provided. We are an intermediary platform only.
- TaskDost does not guarantee continuous availability of Helpers in any specific area.
- TaskDost does not guarantee income levels for Helpers. Earnings (₹200–₹2000+ per task) are indicative estimates only.
- Any agreement for services is solely between the User and the Helper.
5 User Responsibilities
As a Task Poster (User):
- You must accurately describe the task, including scope, location, timing, and payment offered.
- You must make payments through the Platform only — no off-platform cash deals are permitted.
- You must not post tasks that are illegal, dangerous, sexual, or violate any applicable law.
- You must treat Helpers with respect and dignity at all times.
- You agree not to use the Platform to exploit or underpay Helpers.
As a Task Helper:
- You must complete accepted tasks to the best of your ability and within the agreed timeline.
- You must not misrepresent your skills, qualifications, or identity.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and legal compliance as an independent service provider.
- You must not accept payments outside the Platform for tasks arranged through TaskDost.
6 Payment Terms
All payments on the TaskDost Platform are processed via Razorpay, a licensed Payment Aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Accepted payment methods: UPI, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Net Banking, and Wallets (as enabled by Razorpay).
- All transactions are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Task Posters must fund the agreed task amount into escrow before the Helper commences work.
- Payment confirmation is sent via SMS/email after successful transaction.
- TaskDost does not store any card or bank account details on its servers. All financial data is handled by Razorpay in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
✅ Secure Payments: Your money is held safely in escrow and released to the Helper only after you confirm task completion. TaskDost never has access to your payment credentials.
7 Escrow & Fund Release
- Upon task acceptance by a Helper, the User's payment is held in a secure escrow account.
- Funds are released to the Helper within 7 business days after the User confirms task completion.
- If the User does not confirm or dispute within 48 hours of the Helper marking the task complete, funds are automatically released to the Helper.
- In case of a dispute, TaskDost's resolution team will review and decide within 5–7 business days.
- TaskDost's decision in dispute resolution is final and binding on both parties.
8 Platform Fees & Charges
- TaskDost charges a platform service fee of 10% on each completed transaction, deducted from the Helper's earnings.
- Task Posters pay the full task amount as agreed. No additional charges are levied on Task Posters.
- GST and applicable taxes are charged as per Indian tax regulations and will be reflected in transaction receipts.
- Payment gateway transaction charges (as applicable by Razorpay) may be passed on to the payer and are displayed before confirmation.
- TaskDost reserves the right to revise platform fees with 14 days' prior notice communicated via the app or email.
9 Cancellations & Refunds
Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy for complete details. A summary is provided below:
- Cancellation before Helper acceptance: Full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Cancellation after Helper acceptance (User cancels): Partial refund may apply depending on whether work has commenced.
- Task not completed by Helper: Full refund to User after TaskDost investigation.
- Disputed tasks: Resolved by TaskDost's grievance team within 5–7 business days.
- No refund once a task is marked complete and funds released to Helper.
Note: Refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days of approval. The actual credit timeline depends on your bank or payment provider (typically 3–5 additional working days).
10 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Platform for:
- Any illegal activity, including but not limited to theft, fraud, harassment, or assault.
- Tasks of a sexual, adult, or obscene nature.
- Tasks involving illegal substances, weapons, or contraband.
- Attempting to circumvent the Platform by conducting off-platform transactions for Platform-sourced connections.
- Creating fake accounts, fake reviews, or manipulating ratings.
- Scraping, hacking, or reverse-engineering any part of the Platform.
- Spam, phishing, or any form of misrepresentation.
- Any activity that violates applicable Indian laws, including the IT Act 2000 and its amendments.
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account suspension and may lead to legal action.
11 Intellectual Property
- The TaskDost name, logo, app, and all associated content are the exclusive intellectual property of RapidTech Solutions.
- Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without written permission.
12 Limitation of Liability
- TaskDost provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.
- TaskDost is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.
- TaskDost's total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount of platform fees collected from you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
- TaskDost is not responsible for acts, omissions, or misconduct of Helpers or Users.
- TaskDost does not verify the accuracy of task descriptions, skills claimed by Helpers, or quality of work performed.
13 Grievance Redressal
In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:

Users may raise disputes or complaints via the in-app support feature or by emailing the Grievance Officer directly.
14 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
We encourage resolution through our Grievance Redressal mechanism before approaching courts.
15 Changes to These Terms
TaskDost reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via:
- In-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
- Email notification to registered users.
Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
