When a task is matched, the User's task description, general location (not exact address), and first name are shared with potential Helpers. Helpers' profiles, ratings, and approximate location are shared with Users.
All service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data for the specific purpose we authorize.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, including for investigation of fraud, cybercrimes, or other illegal activities.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as a business asset. You will be notified before any such transfer.
TaskDost uses Razorpay as its authorized payment gateway partner. Razorpay is a licensed Payment Aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant.
Important: TaskDost does NOT store your card numbers, CVV, netbanking passwords, or UPI PINs on our servers. All payment credentials are processed and stored solely by Razorpay in accordance with RBI guidelines and PCI-DSS standards.

We retain transaction records (amounts, timestamps, task IDs, payment status) for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes for a period of 7 years as required under Indian financial regulations.
